When ordering a custom line, you must follow the industry-standard S.T.A.M.P.E.D. process to ensure safety and system compatibility:
- 1. Size: Specify the exact internal diameter (ID) and the overall length of the assembly.
- 2. Temperature: Account for the maximum fluid temperature inside and the environmental temperature outside.
- 3. Application: Confirm where the hose will be used (e.g., heavy machinery, farming tractors, or marine equipment).
- 4. Material/Media: Identify the fluid being transported, such as petroleum-based oils, water-glycol, or synthetic fluids.
- 5. Pressure: Match or exceed the maximum system working pressure (PSI), using 2-wire, 4-wire, or 6-wire reinforcement as required.
- 6. Ends/Fittings: Identify the thread styles (e.g., JIC, NPT, ORFS) and the geometric shape on both ends.
- 7. Delivery: Account for any necessary angular orientation if both end fittings are elbow joints (e.g., 90° or 45°) so they do not twist during installation.
